Angel Antics
by Rachel Nesser
Our mischievous Michael
Delights in his angel antics;
The little boy inside him
Can't resist the urge to joke.
A twinkle in his eyes
As he gives us that impish grin;
The sprite in him revels
In those amusing antics.
His laughter, such beautiful music
We all love to hear;
His funny stories and misadventures
Tickle our senses silly.
With a carefree spirit
And a touch of blarney,
His humorous tales charm us.
From candle wax to cannon balls,
Phantom boats to mismatched clothes.
A flame that won't appear to a flame
That won't go out,
From a broken zipper to a forgotten line.
A phone message repeated to a coffee table dance;
The clown in him emerges almost by chance.
His sense of the comedic
Is a wonder to us all,
As we chuckle at the antics
Of our adorable angel Michael.
