We stick to the essentials of the Christian faith that most evangelical churches adhere to. Our perspective on doctrine is: we believe that Christ's command for Christians to be unified is more important than splitting hairs (or churches) over the finer points of spiritual understanding. Though we won't budge on the essentials such as "Jesus Christ is God," "The Bible was inspired by God and is without error" and "We are saved by grace," we appreciate differences on the less critical points as healthy. Though we are not a charismatic church, we do have members who embrace a different perspective on spiritual gifts, and are in the mainstream of church life.
