My name is Susan Bedingfield, and I breed, show and raise Chinese Shar - Pei. Kudzu Kennel strives for quality, healthy Shar - Pei, and I began my program eight years ago with foundation stock from Jade East Kennel. I now live with 12 Shar-pei in the foothills of South Carolina. In the last 8 years, I have finished 9 AKC champions. My dogs are always breeder/handled.

I do have a strict spay/neuter clause for pet quality puppies, and vet references are required to purchase any puppy from Kudzu. My pet puppies come with a two year health guarantee, and I will take a dog back anytime during its lifetime, regardless of health or age. If you buy a show puppy from Kudzu, I am always there to help you get started in the ring. In general, if you buy a puppy from Kudzu, you can contact me anytime during the animal's life for help with any problem or just to say hello!

All Kudzu Shar-Pei are AKC registered. Remember -- the AKC registration does NOT guarantee quality. Shar-Pei should ONLY be purchased from breeders who belong to the Chinese Shar-Pei Club of America, offer a written contract, offer checkable references, screen their dogs for health defects, and will always take the dog back if you are ever unable to keep it. NEVER BUY A SHAR-PEI FROM A PET STORE. The registration papers are only as good as the breeder. ALWAYS DEAL WITH A CSPCA MEMBER BREEDER YOU TRUST.
